There is an out-pour of support for Bernie Sanders Presidential candidacy for 2016. It's amazing. I believe Bernie's momentum and number of supporters will only continue to grow.
The point of this Twibbon however, is to say 'big rallies and retweets won't win the election- we have to vote.'
Taking on this Twibbon is a promise to Bernie Sanders and fellow Bernie Sanders supporters that you WILL:
- Make sure you are registered to vote
- Know the voting requirements in your state to vote for Bernie Sanders in the Primary election
- Know the date for your primary election
- Know your polling place for the primary election
And most important
- You WILL vote for Bernie Sanders in the Primary Election.
This Twibbon is meant as a badge of solidarity, motivation for yourself and other Bernie supporters, and to amplify our collective support for Bernie Sanders.
This is also a pact that no matter how well he is doing in the polls or no matter how big his rallies get, we will not let appearances make us complacent. We will fight for this until the election, where we will vote, and after Bernie is elected we will continue to stay engaged and will do our part to continue to be involved and active. This campaign is not just a presidential campaign. It's a fight for political revolution in our country. We need to stand together.

Remember, also. The Primary election IS the election. He already said if he doesn't win the primary election he will not run as an independent at the risk of splitting the Democrat vote.
I don't want to be forced into choosing the lesser of two evils. I'm sick of the status quo. I'm sick of 'politics as usual'.
