Million Meal Appeal

For over 18 years Sainsbury's has been working with FareShare, a national charity dedicated to tackling the issues of food poverty and waste. In 2011 Sainsbury's and FareShare ran the first Million Meal Appeal. Thanks to the generosity of Sainsbury's customers, enough food was donated for 1.2 million meals. This helped FareShare feed some of the most vulnerable people in our society. This year we believe we can do even more. So on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October, please pop into your local Sainsbury's and donate an item from the Million Meal Appeal shopping list.
