Stevo: De-Matriculation

In response to Durham University’s decision to raise college fees by 3.5%, further pricing out students from disadvantaged backgrounds, damaging relations with the local community, and basically ripping everyone off, we're inviting you to show the University this is something we don't stand for. Matriculation symbolises tradition and a sense of pride to be part of Durham, so we’re turning this on its head with a rally in the theme of "de-matriculation". Palace Green Friday 26 October 15:30-16:30 To express your frustration even further, you can also go along to Durham City Parish Council's meeting on 25 October, where we'll be proposing a motion to get the council to commit to opposing the costs. Your support would be very welcome! It's time to show the University we will be listened to.
