Elephant Corridor Appeal

Indian elephants are coming into more and more dangerous conflict with humans as they try to pass through agricultural land to reach protected areas of forest habitat. World Land Trust (WLT) believe they should have a right of passage on their traditional migration routes, and are working with Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) in an urgent bid to save Indian Elephants from extinction by safeguarding corridors through agricultural land. The Elephant Corridor Appeal aims to raise £750,000 to extend and protect Mudahalli Corridor, where the Eastern and Western Ghats meet in southern India.
