The Kidney Foundation's Kidney Walk is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to join with family and friends and make a tangible difference in the lives of those living with kidney disease, to celebrate new beginnings, to remember loved ones and to honour those who face kidney failure every day. Each step is part of our collective passion to create a better future for people affected by kidney disease. Your support of The Kidney Foundation's Kidney Walk will make a difference. 2016 EVENTS Over forty events will take place throughout the month of September in communities large and small. Kidney Walks take place nationwide, raising funds to support Kidney Foundation programs and leading kidney research. Walks provide an occasion for patients on dialysis, organ transplant recipients, their families, living donors, the medical community, and the public to come together to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health and organ donation and to support the many programs and services offered by The Kidney Foundation.
