EDS awareness

May is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Awareness month. EDS is a genetic mutation of collagen. There are a few subtypes. The most common being the Hypermobile type. Vascular type being the most fatal. EDS is hereditary, but also can be a random mutation in some people. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome has a long list of co-morbidities including but not limited to chronic pain, chronic fatigue, POTS, Chiari Malformation, Intracranial Hypertension, joint issues, dislocations, subluxations, gastrointestinal issues....the list goes on.
