Fight Kids' Cancer With Love

The mission of The Pablove Foundation is to invest in underfunded, cutting-edge pediatric cancer research, inspire cancer families through education, and improve the lives of children living with cancer through the arts. The Pablove Foundation has invested over $1,000,000 in innovative Childhood Cancer Research Grants, supporting innovative investigators researching cures in scientifically exciting ways. Because pediatric cancer is significantly underfunded, our research grants provide the much needed "seed" funding that young research scientists need to produce the preliminary results required to apply for large grants from institutions like the National Institute of Health. Pablove Shutterbugs allows children and teens living with cancer to develop their creative voice through the art of photography. Our curriculum based, arts education program teaches kids the basic principles of photography in a structured environment, alleviating some of the challenges children and teens face when going through treatment: feelings of isolation, decreased self-confidence, and a general lack of structured opportunities for learning since most children living with cancer miss or are unable to attend school during treatment. Currently, Pablove Shutterbugs takes place in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, New York City, New Orleans, and Austin, and has served more than 900 kids living with cancer.
