Opposing MEGA is a counter-petition in response to a petition by a UK research group called MEGA (M.E./CFS Epidemiology and Genomics Alliance) for public support to obtain millions of pounds from ‘mainstream research funders’ for a ‘biomedical research project’. The original petition raised red flags as key members of MEGA are involved in discredited research and subsequent updates by MEGA served to increase the number of concerns.
