May is NF Awareness Month

Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic disorder that causes tumor growth on nerve-endings throughout the body at any time in life. It is more prevalent than Cystic Fibrosis, hereditary Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington's Disease, and Tay-Sachs combined; it is the most common disorder you have never heard of. The NF Network's mission for NF Awareness month is to raise awareness and spread the word about neurofibromatosis.
