Liver Cancer Awareness Month

October is Liver Cancer Awareness Month and an opportunity to raise vital awareness of liver cancer. Liver cancer rates have more than doubled in 30 years and every day 6000, around 16 people, are diagnosed in the UK.  Sadly just 12% of people diagnosed with liver cancer survive for more than five years.  It is vital that we raise awareness to find those at risk and improve early detection of the disease.
