May is bladder cancer awareness month, a cancer that is the 5th most common in the Western world. With more than 175,000 people diagnosed with this quiet disease in Europe each year, we want to make some noise, help to reduce the burden of bladder cancer on patients and make sure that it is no longer a forgotten disease.
In this special month, we want to unite with all those who have lost their fight against this type of cancer and show our support for those still undergoing treatment, their caregivers, family and friends.
Bubbles for Bladder Cancer was an initiative started by Fight Bladder Cancer. In this special month of May we remember all those who have lost their fight with this awful disease, but it is also a time when we stand together for those currently undergoing treatment and everyone who is affected by bladder cancer.
Join us in our efforts to raise awareness of Bladder Cancer. We are in it together!
The European Cancer Patient Coalition activities on bladder cancer are supported by AstraZeneca, Ipsen, and Roche.
