Client: Burt's Bees
Campaign: For the Holidays in 2011, Burt’s Bees wanted to create an online ‘Tacky Sweater Party’, where users could wear a virtual tacky holiday sweater. For each sweater added, Burt’s Bees would donate $1 to One Warm Coat – a US organisation that provides a warm coat to those in need.
Details: A Facebook Application that allowed supporters to add one of 3 virtual tacky sweaters to themselves in their profile picture. Supporters could change the size, orientation and position of the sweater to make it look like they were actually wearing one. The resulting image could then be set as the supporter’s profile picture on Twitter or Facebook.
