World COPD Day

It's World COPD Day on 18 November and we need your help to raise awareness of this disease and to show support to those affected by COPD. COPD is the fifth biggest killer in the UK yet many people haven’t even heard of it. Although it affects around 3 million people in the UK, it is estimated that two thirds of these people are undiagnosed. The life of someone living with COPD can be greatly improved if they are diagnosed early and receive the right care, so, to help raise awareness of this disease, we are asking everyone to join us this World COPD Day by adding a World COPD Day Twibbon to their profile picture. Please encourage your friends and family to get involved too, add a Twibbon and show their support!
