The UNTIL LOVE IS EQUAL movement exists as a grassroots reaction to the June 15, 2011 vote by members of council that excluded LGBT residents and workers from basic equality protections, in Holland, Michigan (USA). These same protections against discrimination are available to Holland (MI) residents for their religion, race, height, weight, gender and more. UNTIL LOVE IS EQUAL has worked tirelessly as a low/no-budget effort to encourage and educate members of council in Holland (MI) to reconsider this unjust vote, and to join the dozens of other Michigan cities and townships that have affirmed the value of residents and workers who happen to be LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender.)
