My mates, my passengers and other road users are important to me and everyone has a right to get home safely!
The primary purpose of the Week is to encourage individuals and organisations to become road safety advoocates and with 1,200 of our fellow Australians killed and 35,000 seriously injured each year, the need to improve road safety outcomes is clear.
Yellow Ribbon National Road Safety Week asks each of us to show our commitment to:
1. ‘actively’ protecting those who are vulnerable on our roads and highways; and
2. demonstrating solidarity with those affected by road trauma (ie. victims, family and friends).
Be a Road Safety Champion!
