Impact Journalism Day

Sparknews invites the world’s leading newspapers to come together and share stories of hope, change and innovation. That’s impact. Sourcing: Together, Sparknews and its partner newspapers will select 101 innovative projects to feature. These will be concrete projects that already offer solutions to critical issues of the day in matters such as the environment, health, technology and more. Sharing: On September 20, 2014, all 40 newspapers will publish original stories about the selected projects within their pages or in dedicated supplements. Impacting: Thanks to the power of the press, these projects will see their visibility increase dramatically. Altogether they will reach 100 million readers in locations as far-flung as Paris, Beijing, Mumbai and Miami.
