The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence, JustMyMemphis, CityCurrent, New Memphis, Leadership Memphis, Choose901, 901Rocks, Volunteer Odyssey, and the Association for Fundraising Professionals are partnering together to encourage a community-wide day of giving- Memphis-style! We, and many other nonprofits around the world are participating in an amazing global philanthropic movement called Giving Tuesday. The idea behind Giving Tuesday is simple: celebrate a national day of giving on November 29th to kick off the holiday season with the spirit of generosity. Memphis is all heart, and Giving Tuesday is a wonderful time to show it. Take a moment on November 29th to give back to our community and donate to a worthy nonprofit that makes Memphis a better place each and every day.
