The throwdown Mission statement: The throw down is an urban worship night that is an evening of fun, entertainment and great talent, but more importantly this evening has a three fold purpose; to unite the body of urban believers providing a place for them a place to get connected with others who share their same passions and a place to network. Next our desire is to show the youth that we are able to use all that we have, all of our talent to worship our Lord Jesus Christ (1 peter 4:11) and lastly but perhaps most important of all we wish to use this new and exciting environment to promote and create an atmosphere that will help lead many un-churched individuals to Christ! We feel with the talent and passion of the performers and speakers that we can be successful in promoting an even that will achieve these three goals. The growing popularity of the HIP-HOP culture can be utilized and we hope that this type of event will bring out many who have never heard the true gospel
