World Kindness Day 2010

We are all very familiar with a few days in the year. August the 9th is when we celebrate our National Day. February 14th is when the world celebrates love, romance and roses are seen everywhere. What about Nov 13th? November 13th is a very special day. In fact it is one of the most important days in the year. It’s the World Kindness Day. It’s when we celebrate kindness. Can you imagine a world without kindness? A world where no one smiles, no one says thank you, no one helps you when you are in need? Such a world would be a miserable place. Have you done a kind act lately? Have you seen a kind act being done lately? If not, we are in danger of becoming an unkind world. And we will definitely not like a world like this. Acts of kindness are not difficult to do. Think of kind acts you can do today or tomorrow. Think of someone who has shown kindness to you and make it a point to tell them “thank you”. And on Nov 13, let us all go out and celebrate World Kindness Day.
