Virtual Volunteer

Please could you spare a little time to be part of Cats Protection’s latest campaign: I’m A Celebrity…let me volunteer! Due to coincide with Volunteers Week 2011, which takes place during the first week of June, Cats Protection is encouraging more people to come forward and volunteer for the charity. This is a fun way for you to get involved and show your support. We know that some people are very busy and do not have the time to physically help at one of our centres. But you can still do your bit by virtually volunteering! Wear this Twibbon with pride and post the following tweets during 1st - 7th June 2011: • @catsprotection has 7,000+ volunteers who enable us to help over 215,000 cats and kittens every year • 74% of @catsprotection cat care work is carried out by volunteers • The estimated value of @catsprotection volunteer hours is £40m • For every cat @catsprotection help there are many more that need our help so we are asking more volunteers to step forward
