Thought for Food

Food issues are making headline news around the world. Today 1 billion people will over consume. 1 billion people will go to bed hungry. And over 20,000 people will die of hunger related causes. By 2050 the planet will need to feed 9 billion people. Thought for Food is a unique initiative that will generate new ideas to tackle the world's escalating food issues. 50 students at 10 of Europe's leading universities have been set the challenge. Two of the teams will then get the opportunity to present their winning entries on a global stage at One Young World in September.
