Support/Apoyo A RICKY MARTIN

Ricky Martin is an exceptional human being. As you all know, Ricky came out over a year ago. He has since shared a great deal about his personal life journey through his autobiography, "ME". He has also introduced us to his nuclear family: his beautiful twin boys and his partner Carlos Gonzalez. Although the love, respect and support for Ricky continues to grow with every passing day, there are individuals and groups of people that have not been supportive and are BULLYING him online & via the media. "Religious leaders" & media personalities in his home island of Puerto Rico, "religious groups" in Miami & (most recently) "religious groups" & government officials in Honduras have voiced their "disapproval" of Ricky's sexual orientation and non-"traditional" nuclear family. Ricky has persevered throughout such prejudice, ignorance AND bullying. Today, I ask you to SPEAK UP for & STAND UP with Ricky and say: NO to bullying, NO to prejudice, NO to ignorance & YES to ACCEPTANCE & EQUALITY.
