America is rapidly approaching the "debt ceiling" which is the legal limit Congress has put on the ability of our government to borrow money to pay for its expenses. Over 60% of Americans don't want Congress to raise the debt ceiling, presumably because they understand that the government has no plan to pay it back, and that our children and grand children will eventually have to foot the bill.
