Go Red For Women Singapore

Heart Disease and Stroke (Cardiovascular Disease) is the number 1 killer of women worldwide. In Singapore, it affects 1 in 3 Singaporean women. Yet awareness of this issue remains low. To raise awareness of the dangers of cardiovascular disease in women, in 2004, the American Heart Association created Go Red For Women – an initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health. In Singapore, the Singapore Heart Foundation launched The Go Red For Women campaign in 2005. We want women in Singapore to learn and live, and to recognize and reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular disease can be prevented.
