GL InfinityHearts - GL4Ever!

For more than seventy-two years the fans of Guiding Light have been following the Spaulding, Lewis and Cooper clans as they fight, love and live their lives in the sleepy little town of Springfield. On September 18th, 2009 the last episode of this iconic show will air and when the light goes out forever, we will see the end of an era the likes of which will never come again. This town, these characters, and the actors that have portrayed them, have touched our lives in ways too numerous to count. They have entertained us, thrilled us, saddened us and frightened us. They have brought us joy too immense to define. We have watched them be born, live and die as though we were watching the lives of good friends we always assumed would be with us. And when that light, that beacon, goes out forever, we will be left with an empty space that nothing else will ever fill. To honor this incredible show and the people that made it what it was, SunshineLiron asked me to design a Twibbon that would represent everything that GL and its cast has come to mean to us. The first image that came to mind was one I was unable to shake. The show may be over, but it will live on in our hearts and minds, in our dreams and in our imagination for all time.
