Fund raising for St. Francis Hospice, Cricket Match Coming August 2011 Description Our Dad passed away in the amazing care of the wonderful staff in St Francis Hospice in May 2010 from Pancreatic Cancer.Dad was a firefighter in Dublin Fire Brigade until his retirement and he was also a Cricket supporter. So with this in mind My family and I have decided to sponsor a Memorial Cricket Trophy for the recently formed Dublin Fire Brigade Cricket Team. We are hoping that match for this trophy will become an annual event between all the emergency services and this year the inaugural match we hope will be between Dublin Fire Brigade Cricket Team and Gardai Sìochàna Cricket Team and we are hoping to take this opportunity to raise much needed funds for the St.Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, the Match will hopefully be sometime in Mid August and it will be held at the Phoenix Cricket Club.
