Welcome to The Japanese Akita Welfare Trust The JAWT was the first Akita association dedicated to Japanese Akita rescue registered as a charity in England and Wales, Registration Number 1080152, and has been helping Akitas and their owners for many years. The main purpose of JAWT is to give the dogs we love and care for a better chance of finding a new home and promote the akita breed
