Children's Book Week

Established in 1919, Children's Book Week is the longest-running literacy initiative in the country. Held from May 7-13 in 2012, books for young people and the joy of reading will be celebrated for a full week with free author and illustrator appearances, storytelling, parties, & other book-related events at schools, libraries, bookstores, museums, & homes from coast to coast!
